There are several other attractions at the Cu Chi Tunnels, including a museum, exhibits of weapons and other artifacts, and displays of traps, as well as other defensive measures used by the Viet Cong.

Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica

Notre Dame Cathedral is located in the downtown area of Ho Chi Minh City. It is one of the most renowned and symbolic examples of Gothic architecture. Ben Thanh Market

Ben Thanh Market is located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. It is a famous destination for many local and foreign tourists from all around the world. The marketplace is divided into two gates: the southern gate and the northern gate. In the Southern Gate, you can find garments, textiles, and clothing, along with shoes, jewelry, and cosmetic products. The Northern Gate is where people can find a variety of fresh fruits, fish, and poultry. This is also where the food vendors are set up to sell common Vietnamese dishes like pho, broken rice, bun bo hue, bun thit nuong, banh beo, grilled seafood, and desserts.

Mekong Delta Tour

The Mekong Delta, in southern Vietnam, is a vast maze of rivers, swamps, and islands, home to floating markets, Khmer pagodas, and villages. It originates on the Tibetan Plateau and flows nearly 3000 km in the southeastern direction. You can explore the nature and culture of southern Vietnam, its tropical climate, tasty food, and friendly people. Boats are the main means of transportation, and regional tours often start in nearby Ho Chi Minh City.

Famous Islets

Vietnam is famous for islets. An islet is a very small, often unnamed island. Most definitions are not precise, but some suggest that an islet has little or no vegetation and cannot support human habitation. The diverse flora and fauna found on the islet further enhance its appeal and also catch nature lovers and photographers. It is a paradise for snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts, with crystal clear water and rich marine life. In Vietnam, you will be able to see the different types of islet-like the dragon eye, unicorn, tortoise, and phoenix. Among these islets, you will only be visiting Phoenix Islet.

Phoenix Islet is a small, picturesque island located in the Mekong Delta region. This charming islet is renowned for its scenic beauty, featuring lush greenery, coconut groves, and tranquil waterways. Visitors can explore the Coconut Monk temple, enjoy fresh tropical fruits from the local village, and participate in traditional craft-making activities. It offers a scenic escape and a glimpse of the rural lifestyle of the Mekong Delta by boat. You can also enjoy the Crocodile Pond, where the amazingly huge reptiles are safely kept.

Vinh Trang Pagoda

Vinh Trang Pagoda is a Buddhist temple near My Tho in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. The architecture of Vinh Trang Pagoda is the perfect blend of Asian and European architecture, creating an excellent Buddhist pagoda. This temple has extremely beautiful structures. In the pagoda, there are two triumphal arches bearing the art of inserting bottles and porcelain fragments, which create harmonious pictures illustrating the Buddha’s legends. The pagoda is surrounded by gardens of ornamental trees, ancient trees, and bonsai, creating a peaceful atmosphere. It provided shelter for Vietnamese patriots and is recognized as a national historical and cultural relic by the government.
