Gobustan is rich in archaeological monuments that have more than 6000 rock carvings of people, animals, battle- pieces, ritual dances, boats with armed, warriors with lances in their hands, pictures of sun and star etc. Some top-listed attractions are Mud volcanoes, Gobustan museum, Gobustan National park (petroglyphs), Bibi-hey bat mosque, Gobustan rock art, etc.
Located northeast slopes of shahadah mountain, Quba is the city and the capital of the Quba district, Azerbaijan. Quba is at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level with the home to many archaeological and historical monuments.
