The origin of Thien Cung Cave is derived from the Dragon King. The space inside the cave is large, with high ceilings. Walking inside the cave, you will hear the sound of a drum as if in an old festival, which is actually the sound of wind blowing through the cavern (large cave). It is renowned for its striking natural beauty, including towering limestone cliffs, verdant forests, and pristine rivers. Sang Cave: It is a small cave in Trang An with a length of about 100m. It is renowned for its natural beauty and historical importance. It is believed that, during the Dinh Dynasty, Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang used this cave as a military base for strategizing and planning his battles. Today, visitors to Sang Cave go for exploring large interiors with stalactite formed slowly over thousands of years as water dripped from the cave's ceiling. 

Ba Giot Cave: Situated in the Scenic Landscape Complex of Trang An, it is one of the most popular caves known for its three natural waterfalls. Its name, “Three Drops Cave,” signifies droplets of water pouring from its ceiling. Day 1

Arrival in Hanoi, Sightseeing.

At (Arrival Time): Welcome to Vietnam!! Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you are welcomed by our guide & driver, and then it takes about 50 minutes by vehicle to get into Hanoi city. Arrive at the hotel, complete the check-in procedures, and have some rest. 

In the afternoon, you will be taken to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Vietnam. There you will see unique statues, and you will also get to see the Bodhi tree with heart shaped leaves. There you will see priceless antiques, and most of them are hundreds of years old, such as worshipping statues in front of houses. After that, you will pass by the Hanoi Opera House to take photos. The next visit is to one of the most beautiful lakes in Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake (Restore Sword Lake). It is a natural freshwater lake. You can walk around the lake and watch the scenic view. Following that, you will get free shopping time at Dong Xuan Market, Hang Gai, Hang Dao, and Hang Ngang, all located nearby with hundreds of speciality shops selling silk clothing, lacquerware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, and cooking utensils. Later, head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Drive to Halong, City Tour.

At 07:30 AM: Have breakfast at your hotel and get ready to start your half day in the city tour. Your first stop will be the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which is a historical and cultural site dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the revolutionary leader who played a vital role in Vietnam's struggle for independence and reunification. This place includes Ba Dinh Square, the largest square holding important historical values. All 4 sides of the square face important Hanoi landmarks, which are the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, House on Stilts, and One Pillar Pagoda.  

The first important landmark you will visit inside the square is the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a historical place and the final resting place of the Vietnamese revolutionary leader. There you will get to see Ho Chi Minh's embalmed body, which is on display to pay their respects. It offers insights into the history of Vietnam and its struggle for independence. (Closed on Monday and Friday, but every afternoon, we can still view from the outside of the building.) Following that visit, the Presidential Palace (view from outside) is a place where the president ought to live and work, but he refused to live in. After that, visit the House on Stilts, where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked, where you can see two floors. The first flower is the place where he works in the summer. The upper floor has two rooms. These rooms only show essential items in the daily life of Ho Chi Minh City. In front of the house, there is a fish pond called President’s Fishpond with colourful fish and a variety of orchids blooming year around on its bank. After that, you will be visiting One Pillar Pagoda, a must visit attraction that has traditional values and is famous for its unique architectural design. This iconic Buddhist temple is renowned for its distinctive shape, which resembles a lotus blossom. 

Next is a visit to the Temple of Literature; this place served as the first National University of Vietnam, where many kings, mandarins, and talented people of Vietnam were trained. Nowadays, it has become a must visit historical relic in Hanoi, with impressive beauty and architecture. In the afternoon, you will spend a 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta countryside and have a short break on the way. Overnight at a hotel in Halong.

Day 3

Halong Cruise Day.

At 07:30 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up and get ready to proceed to Tuan Chau Harbour. Start the day with a cruise, followed by a short cruise briefing. You will be visiting Thien Cung Cave (Heaven Palace Cave) on a cruise to see thousands of stalactites and stalagmites colored by hundreds of neon lights. After an hour's stay in the Heaven Palace Cave, head back to the boat for cruising along the World Nature Heritage part to see the Incense Bowl islet, which is in the shape of an incense burner in the middle of the sea. You can admire the unique shape and breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay from various vantage points around the islet. You will also get to see Fighting Cocks Island, a popular destination regarded as the symbol of Halong Bay. After that, you will be taken to see Turtle Island, a small island shaped like a turtle swimming in the water, contributing to its diverse shape. 

At noon, you will finish the boat trip and go back to your vehicle to proceed to Hanoi, with stopovers at the Ceramicic and Hand Embroidery Workshop en route. There are beautiful handmade ceramic pieces at affordable prices; you can buy some of them. Later, head back to your hotel in Hanoi for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Drive to Ninh Binh, Sightseeing.

At 07:30 AM: Have breakfast at your hotel, and you will be picked up by your guide. Get ready to depart for 2 hours of driving along green fields and villages. The first stop of the day is Hoa Lu, which used to be the capital of Vietnam in the 11th century. Here, you will be visiting the temples of the Dinh & Le dynasties. This temple is one of the oldest and most sacred structures in Hoa Lu. Learn about the history of Vietnam in the war with China and about the first Vietnamese government. Have a great view of the rice paddy field and lots of fresh air. 

You can choose between these two options for you further sightseeing on this day.

Option 1: In the afternoon, depart to visit Trang An, a scenic complex of limestone mountains, valleys, caves, and rivers. It is recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site, making it a popular tourist attraction in Vietnam. You will be taken on a boat trip to visit the cave complex of four caves, namely Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou Cave. Sang Cave, also known as a light cave because of the way sunlight filters through openings in the cave’s ceiling. Toi Cave, also known as Dark Cave, is where people must use flash lights to explore the cave. This cave has a lot of stalactites in odd shapes. Ba Giot Cave is known as an observer for a sad love story. The average length of this cave is from 100m to 250m. The stalactites in the caves are pure white or emerald green. Nau Ruou is in a charming place in the middle of a majestic landscape. In this cave, there is a well that is 15 meters deep. The water here is cool and deep. After visiting all these caves, the tour finishes. Drive back to Hanoi for an overnight stay. 

Option 2: In the afternoon, you will be taken on a boat trip to visit Tam Coc. Tam Coc has three limestone caves stretching along the Ngo Dong River. The boat trip is a nice journey along the river with peaceful scenery of limestone mountains, rice paddy, and the site of some temples along the way from Hang Ca (the first cave) to Hang Hai (the second cave) and Hang Ba (the third cave). After visiting all three caves, your tour finishes. After that, drive back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel. Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.

Departure, Farewell!

At 07:30 AM: Have breakfast at your accommodation and get ready to proceed to the airport.
