Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Istanbul.

At (Arrival Time): You will arrive at Istanbul Airport, Turkey. Our representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer to the listed hotel for an overnight stay. 

Meal: Not Included.

Day 2

Istanbul Tour.

At 07:30 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel.

At 08:30 AM: Drive to the ‘Old City’ where we will visit the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque (under renovation now), famous for its delicate blue ceramics tiles, and Hagia Sophia. This church-turned mosque-turned museum takes the breath away with the sheer architectural size of its interior and magnificent dome. Next, we visit the spectacular Topkapi Palace that was built on one of the seven hills of Istanbul, this huge complex commands views of the sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. It was the seat of government for the Ottoman Empire for many centuries (1453-1852). Last stop at Grand Bazaar. Overnight in Istanbul. 

Note: St Sophia Museum is closed on Monday from 01 and Topkapi Palace is closed on every Tuesday & Grand Bazar is closed on every Sunday.

Day 3

Bosphorus Tour, Fly to Kayseri.

At 07:30 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel.

At 08:30 AM: Proceed for your half-day Bosphorus Tour. We visit the Spice Bazaar where we will experience the smells of cinnamon, cloves, and thyme rising from every store, the same smells that filled the air over 400 years ago. We then embark on a scenic tour of the Bosphorus by regular boat, the natural waterway that divides Asia from Europe, viewing imperial palaces, castles, palatial homes, and the two magnificent suspension bridges. Return back to the hotel.
Transfer to Istanbul Airport to catch your flight to Kayseri. Pick up from Kayseri airport and drive to Cappadocia. Tonight at Cappadocia.

Day 4

Cappadocia Sightseeing.

At 07:30 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel.

At 08:30 AM: You will be heading to Kizilcukur valley where you will visit Uzumlu (Grape) church. It is hollowed out like a monastic complex where monks lived. Then we proceed to the village of Cavusin, one of many ancient villages of Cappadocia. Old Cavusin was abandoned several decades ago due to avalanches but we still have beautiful fairy chimneys. The underground city is on our programs to enjoy. You will still see pigeons and storage rooms etc. in the pigeon valley. Ample time will be allocated to see Turkish carpets, pottery and Cappadocia souvenirs. Overnight at a hotel in Cappadocia.

Optional: Hot Air Balloon Tour.

Day 5

Cappadocia/Kayseri/Istanbul Izmir/Kusadasi.

After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Kayseri airport to catch a flight to Izmir via Istanbul. Transfer to Kusadasi Hotel.

Day 6

Kusadasi/Ephesus/Kusadasi.

At 07:30 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel.

At 08:30 AM: Your tour will start with Isa Bey Mosque, then drive to an ancient Greek city, later a major Roman city, on the west coast of Asia Minor which is called Ephesus, stroll past the Celsus Library, the temple of Hadrian and the Trajan Fountain in the Ancient Ephesus. After walking on the historical marble street the Great Theater where St. Paul preached will meet at the end. Open buffet lunch in a local Turkish restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the carpet cooperative to see how the Turkish carpets are made by hand. Proceeding to the shrine of Mother Mary, it is believed where she spends recent years of her life. Temple of Artemis (Diana), on the side of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. In the end, the Leather Fashion show will be full of fun. Transfer back to Kusadasi for overnight stay.

Day 7

Kusadasi/Pamukkale/Kusadasi.

At 07:30 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel.

At 08:30 AM: Drive to Pamukkale that has the meaning of the cotton castle in English. Once known as Hierapolis, famous for healing thermal/ mineral Baths and meaning snow-white “petrified waterfalls. After lunch visit Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the main street, and gates, the Thermal Baths, the devil’s hole, and Masterpiece Theater. Pamukkale terrace is made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs. In this area, there are 17 hot water springs in which the temperature ranges from 35-degree Celsius to 100-degree celsius. The water that emerges from the spring is transported 320 meters to the head of the travertine terrace and deposits calcium carbonate on section 60 to 70 meters long covering an expanse of 240 meters to 300 meters.

Day 8

Departure, Farewell!

At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Izmir airport to catch the flight to Istanbul and connect the flight to your home. Fly back to your home with sweet memories.
