The Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trek is one of the popular treks in the Langtang region of Nepal. The mountains, flora, and fauna of Langtang National park and the wonderful Himalayan views along with the culture and traditions of local people are the major attractions of the trek.

Not so commercialized as Everest and Annapurna region trekking, Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu trek is an ideal trek for avid trekkers who want to indulge themselves into the true natural horizon. Even if you are a beginner for trekking, this trek is an ideal option because of its moderate altitude variations and comparatively easier trail. The Kyanjin Ri and Gosaikunda lie in the Langtang region of Nepal, however, getting to Chisapani follow the route of Helambu.
Although the trekking destinations in this trek lie in the isolated parts of Nepal, you do not need to get camping gear. There are teahouses and lodges established to facilitate trekkers en route. After some government procedures of obtaining permits and getting trekking permission from the tourism board and Langtang National Park, you can pursue trekking in the Langtang region of Nepal.
The Langtang valley is Tibetan culture influenced valley, inhabited by the Tamangs. The different cultural places including temples, gompas, and monasteries are also places to explore in the Langtang valley. Some of the major attractions of Langtang are Gosainkunda Lake, Kyanjin Gompa, village, Buddhist culture, and traditions. The Helambu valley is highly inhabited by the Hylmos. The wonderful Langtang National Park offers the mindblowing floral and faunal species including some of the rare Red pandas and other animals.
The highest point in the Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu trek is Kyanjin Ri at an altitude of 4773 m above sea level. The Gosainkunda lake at an elevation of 4380 m offers splendid freshwater beauty along with the sight of mountains. One of the major destinations of this trek is Chisapani as well. The views of Manaslu, Ganesh Hima, Gaurishankar and Langtang Lirung from Chisapani at 2215 m are spectacular and fascinating.
