Tashi Lapcha Pass trek via Rolwaling valley is a 14 days trek that is worth exploring and strenuous in the other hand. Your trekking begins with a drive to Gongar Khola from Kathmandu. The drive will take you to the Simigaun (2019 m) which is the starting point of the trek. The further trail will take you to the Dongang through the lush green forest, waterfalls, Nepal’s second cantilever bridge, fast-flowing Rolwaling River with spectacular views of Rolwaling Mountain Range in the backdrop. Dongang is a part of Rolwaling valley, the entry point.
The further trail from Dongang will take you to the wonderful Bedding. You can explore the Rolwaling river adorned with the beautiful Gaurishankar Himal in the backdrop of the mountains. The alluring landscape of the Rolwaling valley is very astonishing. The Na village is also the major attraction of the trek lies beneath the Tsho Rolpa Glacier in the mountains. The trek from Bedding will take you to the beautiful Na gaun which is also the oldest settlement of the Rolwaling valley.
Trailing further you will explore the wonderful Tsho Rolpa Lake. The Ladung Himal Range and Mahalangur Himal Range are spectacular from the Tsho Rolpa and wonderful views of the mountains make it a wonderful place to visit. After visiting Tsho Rolpa Lake, you will trek forward to the wonderful Tolumbhu Buka following the lateral moraines if Trakding glacier.
The trek from Tolumbhu Buka will take you to the Tashi Lapcha La Pass which is also the highest point of the trek. This is the most technical and difficult passing in the entire trek. Ascending on the bank of Drolambau Glacier on a steep trail covered in moraines will take you to the Tashi Lapcha Top. You can see the mindblowing Himalayan beauty from the top of Tashi Lapcha La pass. The beautiful panorama of the Khumbu Himalayas as well as the peaks of the Rolwaling region will take you to Thyangbo.
Trekking from the Thyangbo will take you to Khumbu and Namche Bazaar. You can explore the beautiful scenery from the Sherpa capital along with the mind-blowing Himalayan views. The trek from Namche Bazaar will take you to the Lukla from where you will have a flight back to the Kathmandu valley.
