Mardi Himal Trek in nepal

The best season to get at Mardi Himal is September to November. This trek generally takes 5-6 days of time depending on the walking speed of trekkers. The trek starts from Kande, it is the place nearby Pokhara to where the transportation is accessible. The trail available there leads to Deurali at an altitude of 2200 m and takes around four hours from Kande. The same route ahead takes to the low camp at an altitude of 2900 m after around 7 hours of walking. The uphill trek of around 4-5 hours with the amazing views of Mardi Himal, Annapurna south, Machhapuchre Himal takes to the place, called High Camp. Khopra Hill Trek

Khopra Hill trek is a newly opened, exotic and unspoiled trek route in the Annapurna region. It offers spectacular views of Himalayan ranges and the culture, traditions and hospitality of different ethnic people in the rural villages along the trail. This trek is also popular for flora and fauna found in this region. The highest elevation gained during the trek is 4110 m.

Khopra Danda Trek

The trek generally starts after one half and half hour drive to Nayapul from Pokhara. The route then ascends from Modi Khola after passing Birethanti from Nayapul. The trek of around 6-7 hours takes to the beautiful Gurung village, Ghandruk. The stay here is preferable because it is a unique experience to understand the ethnic lifestyle of Gurungs. The landscapes of Ghandruk village are also wonderful, the culture and traditions they acquire is also interesting to observe.

The trek to Khopra Hill starts from this place, following the uphill walk to Tadapani, then Isharu, Bayeli and finally leading to Khopra Danda at an elevation of 3600 m. It might take 5-6 days of walking to get there. It is around a total of 22 Km trek from Ghandruk village to Khopra Danda. The returning route via Swanta, 4-hour hike from Khopra hill, and same trail to Ghorepani is the best way to attain sunrise at Poon Hill with the mesmerizing views of Annapurna Himalaya Range. The 4-5 hour trek to Ulleri from Poon hill leads to the bus stop, from that place we can catch the bus to Pokhara. This is also a wonderful trek with astounding views, landscapes and unspoiled nature.

Langtang Valley Trek

The Langtang trek is one of the evergreen trek routes because of its wonderful view of Himalayan range and exceptional diversity of scenery and culture. The trek starts from a drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The 5-6 hours of trek from Syabrubesi leads to Lama Hotel and further 6-8 hours of trek takes to Langtang valley. The further trek to Kyanjin Ri is the highest altitude of this trek, Kyanjin Ri is 4604 m above sea level. From Pokhara, the bus ride leads us to Ghaleshwar. From Ghaleshwar, the trekking starts and the trail take us to Bans Kharka. The further trek leads to Nangi after around 7 hours of walk from BansKharka. The landscapes and the scenes are mesmerizing here. The trail ahead takes to Mohare Danda. To reach Mohare Danda, it might take 7 hours of walk and it is at an elevation of 3300 m. From here, the further walk of around 5 hours leads us to Deurali and the same trail takes to the Ghandruk. The trek from Ghandruk takes to Nayapul, from here, the transportation service is accessible and we can reach to Pokhara by Bus or jeeps. From Nayapul, the trek takes to Tikhedhunga with amazing and picturesque views of Himalayan peaks and panoramic landscapes. The further trek of around 5-6 hours takes us to Tadapani. One can stay here at Tadapani or just continue the trek to Ghandruk. From Ghandruk, the trek to Birethanti and Nayapul take us to the bus stop, from where we can get a bus to reach Pokhara.

Gosainkunda Trek

This trek is renowned for its breathtaking views and scenic beauty in the Langtang region. Gosain Kunda is also a sacred place for Hindus and Buddhists. It is believed that the holy bath here can make you clean from your sins, sorrows and pain. Because of its preserved natural beauty and religious importance along with the settlement of different ethnic groups, trekkers visit here to get adventure and spirituality. It is situated at an altitude of 4300 m above sea level and is a perfect trek for the adventure aspirants in the holy land. A TIMS card used to track the journey to assure the safety of trekkers, and trek permit is required to undertake this trek.

Gosaikunda lake trek

The trek starts from Dhunche, a beautiful place and headquarter of Rasuwa district. A ground ride from Kathmandu to Dhunche is available and generally takes around 6-8 hours. The trek begins at Dhunche and the trail leads to Thulo Syabru at 2260 m above sea level after 5-6 hours of trekking with the spectacular views of Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal. Thulo Syabru is a beautiful Tamang and Sherpa village, where the culture and traditions they acquire in a rural environment can be seen. The following trail here is a little uphill from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa and takes generally around 4-6 hours.

The trail now leads to Gosain Kunda at an elevation of 4360 m. from Sing Gompa experiencing the beautiful views of Himalayas (Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Manaslu Range, HiuChuli and Tibetan Peak), rare flora and fauna and local lifestyle. After some activities according to the personal perceptions, from Gosainkunda we can get back to Sing Gompa via Lauribinayek. The further trail from SingGompa leads towards our trek starting point, Dhunche. From Dhunche, we can get a bus or jeep to return back to Kathmandu.

Tsho Rolpa Trek

Tsho Rolpa is one of the most fascinating, spectacular and adventurous treks around the remote region of Rolwaling. Apart from the intact lake itself, it features continuous panoramic views of Gaurishankar Himal, Menlungtse, and Tamakoshi River along the way. Tsho Rolpa glacier is situated at the altitude of 4580 m above sea level.

Tsho Rolpa Lake Trek

The Tsho Rolpa trek begins from Dolakha, Chechet, nearby Tibet border. It takes around 8 hours of drive from Kathmandu valley to get there. Upon reaching, a short hike of around 3 hours takes us to the Simi Gaun. Simi Gaun is a small rural village with a majority of ethnic people. The following trail now leads to Dangang and takes around 6-8 hours of trekking depending upon the walking speed. From Danggang, the trail uphill leads to Na, Na is a rural village in the Rolwaling region.

It takes around 6-7 hours of trekking to get at Tsho Rolpa glacier. After exploring the beauty of Tsho Rolpa glacier, we can return from the same trail following the ethnic villages Na, Dangang and Simigaun. The bus or jeep is accessible at Chechet, near Simigaun, which leads to Kathmandu the same way. The entire trek can complete in 5-8 days depending upon the needs and walking speed.

Chisapani – Nagarkot Trek

Chisapani – Nagarkot trek is one of the popular, easy and short trekking from Kathmandu valley. Chisapani-Nagarkot trekking offers the wonderful views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa and Gauri Shanker and Mount Everest along the trail.

After exploring the beauty from Nagarkot, one can get a bus to get back to Kathmandu. The trek takes around 3 days to complete. Paanch Pokhari Trek

Paanch Pokhari, derived from the combination of pristine glacial five lakes, situated in the Sindhupalchowk district, north of Kathmandu. This is in the Langtang National Park and offers natural beauty, wildlife, flora and fauna and genuine adventure. This lake is also a sacred place of Hindus and Buddhists. The spectacular views of Dorje Lakpa, Madiya, Jugal Himal, Rolwaling, and Langtang range can be seen from here.

Panch Pokhari Lakes in Nepal

The Hike starts from Melamchi, around 3 hours of drive from Kathmandu. From Melamchi, the trail leads towards an ethnic village Bhotang, which generally takes 7-10 hours. The following trek ahead leads to Paanch Pokhari via Nasimpati, which generally takes around 4-6 hours of hiking. Paanchpokhari is situated at an elevation of about 4100 m above sea level.
